Trishuli River Rafting is a challenging rafting experience with powerful water rapids. It is one of the most easily accessible rafting spot near Kathmandu and is the first choice of anyone who would like to cater their thirst of white water fun. As you dive in to the fun of this adventure activity, you will be blessed with the views of lush valleys and impressive gorges. The easier rafting sections along with stimulating rapids, Trishuli river is a right place for any amateur or experienced rafters. As the rafting location is located in between the way to Pokhara and Chitwan National Park, it is the most visited rafting destination in Nepal.

Monsoon is considered as the best season if you want to take rafting in its more challenging attire. The powerful whirlpools when the river runs high and wild. The rapids in the Trishuli river are even given a name like Snail’s nose, Teendevi, Malekhu rapid, Monkey rapid, Upset, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight, S-Bend, Highway, Monsoon and Pinball Rapid. The names of the rapids gives us an idea about how the rapids will be like.

Enjoy the continuous rapids in a calm river water of Trishuli river! Your journey starts with a short drive from Kathmandu to Charaundi. Upon our arrival, we head towards the bank of Trishuli river and receive the safety equipment provided by the rafting conductors to the rafters for a safe rafting experience. You will then get a short briefing from the rafting instructor about the do’s and don’ts of rafting. Get involved in few practice sections of Trishuli River Rafting and opt out for the real life adventure! The moment when you go up, down or move side by side along the rapids of water, nothing could have been more stimulating.


Day 1Day 01 - Drive to rafting starting point at Charaundi 85 KM 3 hour

We start our journey along the Trishuli River in a comfortable tourist bus. We enjoy the lush landscape, river and countryside environment of Nepal until we reach Charaundi. Charaundi is the starting point of our rafting journey. Upon arrival, we get down from the bus and walk towards the beach of the Trishuli River. We will be provided with the rafting equipment and a short briefing about our rafting experience from the instructor who will make us well adhered about the do’s and don’ts of rafting. After few practice sessions, we start our real rafting fun. We stay at a camp in the banks of Trishuli River for the night. The campfire, barbeque would be a good experience. (Inclusive of full board meals)

Day 2Day 02 - Rafting ends at Simaltal and drive back to Kathmandu/Pokhara/Chitwan

We wake up early in the morning and treat ourselves with tea or coffee. We get reloaded with our gears and head for our next paddling journey. We enjoy the rapids of water for next three hours and enjoy our lunch and Mugling. We further raft until we reach Simaltal and conclude our rafting journey. Then you may drive to Pokhara/Chitwan or drive back to Kathmandu.
